New Rolls Royce Wraith “Inspired by Film” Revealed
Rolls-Royce’s debut at the New York Auto Show is a bespoke Wraith that pays homage to the Wraith’s launch film called “And the World Stood Still”.

What may seem a peculiar decision is actually based on the fact that the promotional video has been accepted into the BFI (British Film Institute) National Archive, which is the world’s most significant collection of film and TV.

To celebrate the event, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has built the Wraith “Inspired by Film” bespoke model, which is also an homage to the brand’s long heritage in film. Rolls-Royce vehicles have been featured in successful movies as Goldfinger (1964), The Yellow Rolls-Royce (1964), The Thomas Crowne Affair (1968) and The Great Gatsby (1974), among many others.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith “Inspired by Film” continues the theme of the “And the World Stood Still”, hinting at the film noir through a number of unique Bespoke touches.

The model features a unique two-tone Silver and Jubilee Silver paint scheme, which along with the silver Spirit of Ecstasy are said to celebrate the silver screen. The interior is richer in colors than the exterior, with the Anthracite leather being complemented by Casden Tan leather accents and Maccassar Ebony wood trim.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith “Inspired by Film” will be available to order from Rolls-Royce Motor Car dealers around the world immediately after its debut in New York.
