In this video we'll see how we can track a footage in After Effects & then import the tracking data into Blender using the addon called AE2BLEND
1. In After Effects, Import the footage
2. Drag and drop the '3D Camera Tracker' onto your footage
3. Wait for it to analyze the video and solve it.
4. Once its solved, select a few tracking points on the ground and right click to Set Ground Plane and Origin
5. Then select 3 points on the ground and right click to 'create solid and camera'
6. Scrub through your timeline to see if the plane sticks on the ground
7. Install the AE2BLEND addon in blender
8. In the 3d Tracker Camera select Position & Orientation data , press Ctrl+C to copy it and go back into Blender and in the addon settings click on 'Create Camera' button
9. You'll now see a newly created camera that has all the tracking data
10. Now in after effects Select the first four parameters of the solid and press Ctrl+C to copy them and select Create Plane button in Blender
11. To match the Focal Length of your footage, double click on the camera icon in after effects and copy the focal length and give it to your camera in blender
12. check background images and add your footage in blender
