This is my interview with Josef Strzibny. I discovered Josef and his work through a talk he gave at the Ruby Balkans conference. In that talk, he shared the story of how he self-published his two books, Deployment from Scratch and Kamal Handbook.
I really appreciated his openness and down-to-earth attitude, so I invited him for a podcast interview, and he kindly accepted. During our conversation, we covered many topics, such as how he approaches marketing and product validation for his books, his motivation for writing, advice for aspiring tech authors, and much more.
