Former soldier sentenced for hurling wooden planks at police
An ex-soldier has been sentenced after being identified during a violent protest in Hartlepool.
Joel Bishop, a former tank driver with the Royal Logistic Corps, was caught on video throwing stones and planks of wood at police.
The 27-year-old was identified by his name, which was written on his T-shirt, and a distinctive tattoo.
