The Azure IoT Hub service provides the foundation for an Internet of Things (IoT) message broker service in Microsoft Azure. This service provides device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device messaging between IoT devices and the cloud. As a message broker it is the gateway to communicating event telemetry and other messages for an IoT solution, and is the integration point to connect those physical devices to, and communicate with, the cloud portion of a full IoT solution.
