FME works with non-spatial corporate databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Netezza, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Ingres, and Oracle. In this demo, you'll see how to use FME Workbench to update Oracle with results from a complex SQL Server query. We'll execute a SELECT statement on a SQL Server database from within a SQLCreator transformer, then execute an UPDATE on an Oracle database from within a SQLExecutor transformer. We'll also perform a data validation step in the middle.

Transformers used: SQLCreator, TestFilter, SQLExecutor
Formats used: Oracle Non-spatial (ORACLE8I_DB), Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial (MSSQL_ADO)
