Mentor UT 09 Update Process for Rev 2
CAUTION! Before updating, please read all of the note below. This update clears all user settings files, apps, reports and data files.
This video covers the special, one time, process for updating previous versions of the Mentor UT to version 2.0. This is a major upgrade of all software components including BIOS and operating system. It requires a complete cleansing and re-imaging of the internal hard drive.
CAUTION! Before starting this process, please back up any settings files, reports and data files from the instrument. Because this update formats and rebuilds the hard drive, any data stored on the instrument will be lost if not copied off prior to starting the update. When complete, there will be no apps installed, so make sure that you have installation copies of all of your important apps to reinstall after the update.
