Welcome to the Filmmaker Reel Contest 2020! Reels are the most efficient and cost-effective way to secure paying work as a filmmaker. Most producers, agencies, and clients don't care about where you went to film school. They care about whether you can produce the work they want to be created. A reel is a fast (60-90 second) compilation of your best work. It shows potential employers and clients the quality you as a filmmaker brings to projects.

3) You must own all the rights to the work you put in your reel. Stock footage, copy-written work, and projects you were not directly involved in CANNOT be used in your reel. This is also just good life advice.

5) @garrettsammons, @joshuamartinstudios, and @chrisvanderschaaf are the judges for this contest and all decisions are final.
6) Winners will be announced on January 15, 2021, on this YouTube Channel.
