Today I will be opening a toy I have ALWAYS wanted - an American Girl doll. I have recently been buying toys I had in my childhood or in this case toys I wish I had. This really meant a lot to me. You're never too old to let your inner child play. Also, as a side note, I have been having a bit of a rough time lately, so this was very healing to me. I filmed me opening her knowing I may never post it, I didn't dress up or really care about my appearance because I just wanted to film my own reaction. My hair is dirty, no makeup, no frills. Just me, an adult sorting through her traumas and wounds, reparenting my inner child in the way she deserves, giving her all the love she craves.
