Teenage Japanese slugger Rintaro Sasaki is following in Shohei Ohtani's footsteps in a way that's very close to home.
Ohtani's high school coach is Sasaki's dad. Sasaki himself is taking a different path to the United States from Ohtani, however, as he has signed a letter of intent to play college baseball with Stanford University.
