PLC Training Course – First Steps in PLC Programming (Lesson 3)
In the last two videos, we explored the hardware of the S7-300 PLC. In this video, we take the first step into programming using SIMATIC Manager. My goal is to control an electric motor with the S7-300 PLC.
We will start by creating a new project in SIMATIC Manager, followed by hardware configuration. Once that is complete, we will move on to the programming section, where I will explain the different parts of the OB1 program and how to correctly address the input and output modules.
In the next video, I will complete the project and demonstrate it using real hardware. Stay tuned!
