Trun windows feature on/off
enable
Virtual machine platform
Windows subsystem for linux
wsl --set-default-version 2
Download and install wsl2 package
wsl -l -v
Install kali linux from windows store
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install kali-win-kex
Note:Installation of kex takes time.
kex help
On windowed mode click F8 to open pop up menu to exit to windows screen
kex -s : Start KeX server in window mode and launch KeX client with sound support
kex --sl -s : Start KeX in seemless mode and launch KeX client with sound support
kex --esm -i -s : Start KeX in ESM mode with arm workaround and launch KeX client with sound support
sudo kex : Start KeX server as root in window mode and launch KeX client
To terminate kali linux type this in powershell
wsl -t kali-linux
