Humanity's most Innate Endeavour, our Curiosity.

"In the depths of our minds, there’s a burning fire,
A spark of curiosity that never really does tire.
It drives us to wonder, to question and explore,
To seek out the mysteries, to learn and adore.
We wonder, dream, hope and wish,
that the answers that lie ahead might find us bliss.
Religion, our first venture to fathom the unknown,
A source of poetry, culture, where wisdom has grown.
Yet, in its wake, moral communities compete,
and curiosity sometimes takes a back seat.
Blindfolded by dogma, some lose their way,
In a world divided, where colors turn to grey.
But in a child’s eyes, curiosity does gleam,
which is a flicker of hope, in this humanistic dream.
Let diverse voices in discourse meet,
In the marketplace of ideas, where thoughts compete.
For in curiosity, we bridge the divide,
and let empathy and understanding reside.
And through trials and errors, we navigate,
Seeking truth, free from bias and hate.
Data collected, patterns discerned,
In the crucible inquiry, wisdom earned.
And in the heart of logic, it finds its place,
The scientific method, humanity’s grace.
By making “dialogue and open mindedness” a more common phrase,
We find a path to a more virtuous place.
And unbiased, we seek to understand,
A path towards morals, more just and grand.
With open minds and hearts, we’re set free,
To shape a world where love, fellowship and kindness decree.
Behold our planet, A pale blue dot in space,
Seemingly insignificant in this cosmic place.
But to us, it is home, where billions of minds
might one day, make it a true sanctuary for the curious kind."
