UNO's Chancellor Joanne Li believes the university is no longer a 'commuter school,' as many have referred to it as. "So, UNO as an urban university is very strategic, very intentional to connect students of different backgrounds, particularly-- different socioeconomic backgrounds, to our employers locally," Li told KETV Newswatch 7 Thursday.
