Suno CEO Interview from BEFORE the lawsuit was filed
About six months after releasing their first AI music model, Co-founder and CEO Mikey Shulman was interviewed by Michael Mignana at Lightspeed Venture Partners on his "Generative Now" YouTube series. This was in April, 2024, less than two months before a group of the largest recording companies in the US filed a lawsuit against Suno.
I think this interivew is quite insightful and illustrates Shulman's sincere desire to do everything by the book, with the primary goal of democratizing music creation, allowing everyone to create and engage with music in more than a passive manner.
