In this tutorial, we are going to take a first look at React authentication using Firebase 9.0 Modular Imports. I show you how to install, set up and integrate the newly released Firebase SDK called Firebase 9. What we did was to set up an authentication form that makes use of the Email/Password sign-in method.

This new version adopts a modular format that is optimized for discarding unused code. The result of this is a potentially significant reduction of the Firebase SDK library code in JavaScript bundles.

Support for Modular Imports
Size Difference (72% Smaller than Verison 8)
Introduction of the Firestore Lite Sub Package
