Rally on Academician Sakharov Avenue August 10, 2019
A rally was held on Academician Sakharov Avenue in support of unregistered candidates to the Moscow City Duma. The participants demanded the release of detainees at previous protests, the investigation of the use of excessive force in detentions and the admission of independent candidates for elections.
At the rally, rapper Face, Icepeak and Krovostok performed.
According to the White Counter, the rally brought together about 50 thousand people.
After the rally, part of the protesters went to the Presidential Administration at the Kitay-Gorod metro station.
