Hands-On With the Google Pixel Fold
Hands-on with the Google Pixel Fold! This is the porcelain color, which has this gorgeous matte finish back and gold accents for the sides of the phone and camera. It’s a fantastic colorway.
The Google Pixel Fold is also the first Google engineered and designed foldable out there, so it’s really exciting. It has a wider size to it than the Samsung Galaxy Fold devices, which I prefer. They said it was designed to be like a Moleskin notebook, which makes sense!
The hinge is quite strong and holds its position well in just about any orientation. It is also the thinnest foldable in the United States, and it feels like it. The trade-off of these two victories is that the top and bottom bezels are thicker to allow for the thicker hinge parts that are found at the top and bottom instead of under the screen like other foldable phones.
