“I'm mostly trying to do things that are achievable. I don’t want to wait until I have a lot of money or like the backing of a studio or something to be able to tell a certain story.”
From his bedroom studio in Toronto, filmmaker and artist Isaac Roberts brings his ideas to life through hand built props and practical effects. As he assembles a glowing sword for an upcoming project, Isaac shares his perspective on DIY filmmaking.
‘Low/No Budget Filmmakers’ is a new series by Hannah Raine, focused on exploring the rebellious, creative and wildly unique world of DIY Canadian filmmaking.
Produced with the CBC Creator Network.
