Today ware are going to explore Venezuela, officially Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Venezuela is in northern South America that borders the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, Guyana and Columbia. Venezuelan territory also include many islands in the Caribbean Sea
Venezuela is in the middle of socio economic and political crisis. We will look at some detail little later in this video now let look at the Flag.

Geography
Venezuelan landscape include a stretches Andes mountain ranges, huge areas of Amazonian rain forests, fertile plains known as Ilanos, miles of Caribbean shoreline, and even a small desert.
With an area of 912,000 km² Venezuela is 32nd largest country.
The Orinoco river and s mountain ranges divide the country into four distinct regions:
1 - The Maracaibo lowlands in the northwest a the dry windless. Lake Maracaibo (13,210 km2) is the largest lake in Venezuela.
2 - The northwestern Andean mountains and highlands stretching from southwest of the
Maracaibo Basin across Northern Venezuela, it is home to Pico Bolívar,the highest point at 5,007 meters
3 - Central Orinoco plains, between the Merida Range and the Orinoco, covers third of the country. Home to many of the rivers, Orinoco is the longest and most important river.( 2500 km)
4 - Guiana Highlands in the southeast covers more than half the land with elevations of up to 3,500 meters. Home to world's highest waterfall, Angel Falls, The water plunges 807 meters in a single uninterrupted drop to ground, with total height of 979 meters. The wild and largely unexplored areas are rich in mineral resources
Venezuela is one of the 17 megadiverse countries. Some 23 per cent of reptilians and 50 per cent of amphibian species are endemic to Venezuela. Venezuelan conservation effort are been crippled by current crisis.
Venezuela also has many natural resources including hydropower and mineral resources, including bauxite, coal, diamonds, gold, iron ore, natural gas, and petroleum enough to last another 100 years
Venezuelan territory also include many islands in the Caribbean Sea
Venezuela has many territorial disputes. With Colombia regarding maritime territory off Guajira Peninsula and in the Gulf of Venezuela. It is being resolved through bilateral negotiations. Venezuela also claims two-thirds of Guyana.
Venezuela also has a territorial dispute with Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines—over Bird Island

Venezuela is among the most urbanized countries in Latin America, the vast majority of Venezuelans live in the cities in the northern regions within 100 km to the coast. Caracas is the capital and largest city. Metropolitan population is just over 5 million, second largest is Maracaibo, it is the oil capital with the metropolitan population closer to 5 million. Valencia is 3rd largest with metro population of about 2 million people.
