How Speed-Detectors Work? #shorts
You must have heard about overspeeding challan. But how do traffic police get to know that a vehicle is moving above the speed limit? Let's understand the process of speed measuring and challan with the help of 3D animation.
Most of the accidents in India happen because of overspeeding. You must have seen police interceptors on the roadside to control these overspeeding drivers. The RADAR-based camera device installed in this interceptor is used to capture the speed and details of moving vehicles.
HD video cameras and the RADAR system of this device capture the speed of any vehicle from a distance of 200 to 700 meters. This device transmits electromagnetic waves continuously to measure the speed. These waves are again received by this device after they bounce back from the target. Now, this device calculates the latency between transmitted and received waves to measure the speed of the moving target (vehicle) and displays it on the screen.
Now the officer operating this device creates an e-challan with the help of captured details of the vehicle. This e-challan is forwarded to the phone number of the vehicle owner in the form of a message.
What do you think, how much that driver will have to pay as penalty? Do Comment.
