In line with our Weather Impact Alert, the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for multiple Northeast Ohio counties.
According to the NWS, at 7:33 p.m., severe thunderstorm outflow winds were located along a line extending from near Western Vermillion, moving southeast at 45 mph. Wind gusts of 60 miles per hour are possible along with damage to trees and power lines.
The counties impacted until 8:15 p.m. are:
-Cuyahoga (western portion)
-Erie
-Huron
-Lorain
These counties are also under the warning until 8:45 p.m.:
-Ashtabula
-Cuyahoga (eastern portion)
-Geauga
-Lake
