The Erythrocyte Life Cycle
Red blood cells start out in the bone marrow where they must differentiate through several cellular stages before they can enter the blood stream as the oxygen carrying cells we commonly refer to as RBC's. In this video we will summarise the erythrocyte life cycle and the various steps involved in both synthesis, and recycling.
