EVE Explained - Why Fight?
Conflict is something I take a great deal of time focusing on in this channel, and it leads to one of the most common questions I get - Why do people even go to war when so much gets destroyed on both sides?
The answer is a complicated one, and is as wrapped up in political machinations and internal scheming for power as much as the topics covered here - FCs have lead invasions in an attempt to secure their reputations over more rational reasons before - but I hope it gives some grounding in what the objectives and forces driving war in EVE are.
