David Tennant accepts the Television Award for Doctor Who: “one of the great honours of my life”
Celebrating 60 years of Doctor Who, the beloved show has won the Television Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards, in collaboration with Rémy Martin.
Recognising what the show had done for him and others Tennant said he was glad to be celebrating a show “that is about someone travelling around in time and space in a wooden box dispensing kindness. It’s a character who travels through time and space cherishing the unusual and standing up for the disenfranchised. May the spirit of the Tardis carry us through the next 60 years. Thank you!”
