First, the Correct Pitch macro is used to quickly and broadly tune any instrument or voice. This makes it very easy to lay down additional vocal takes as the reference tracks will be right on pitch.
Next, when the session is over (or the singer needs a break), it's time for a more nuanced approach. For this, Rich uses the Pitch Correction tool to gently nudge any note, or instantly snap it exactly to the intended pitch. Finally, he goes into detail about using the Pitch Modulation and Pitch Drift tools to even out and still maintain the human value of the performance. These tips are excellent for helping to achieve natural sounding pitch correction.
