Back in the late '60s and early '70s the jewel in the crown of ITV's Christmas schedule was All Star Comedy Carnival – a festive mix of variety and comedy that was not only an undoubted highlight of the festive viewing period, but of Christmas Day itself. Featuring brand-new sketches from the ITV network's most popular sitcoms, it was an eagerly-awaited festive treat – even by the Ebeneezers in the audience!
This set contains the only two editions that still exist: those for 1972 and 1973. The set features Christmas skits from series such as Love Thy Neighbour, On the Buses, Christmas with Wogan and Man About the House.
