9 is the number of Enlightenment, Transformation, Endings, and Completion. 9 is the number of human pregnancy.The 9 Muses in Greek mythology.
The exhibition shows 9 paintings about the life of Elodie, an autistic woman, in her everyday moments during the winter lockdown. She may not understand the pandemic situation but she is extremely sensitive to emotions. Her wide open eyes are gazing beyond in an hallucinatory state of consciousness.

Tanguy de Thuret is a French-Latin American visual artist .
He studied Art History at the Université Libre de Bruxelles , Modern & Contemporary Art in London and afterwards Film Production at The New School, New York, where he created several experimental documentaries & short films. In 2016, he moved back to Europe to learn traditional oil painting techniques in Rome. After several stays in Berlin, postwar Eastern German painters and New Objectivity (Neue Sachlichkeit) have influenced his work. In Spring 2021, he participated in the exhibition “Musée temporaire du confinement - ULB” in Brussels and, last summer, in the exhibition “Outside The Window/ Looking Within” curated by a.topos (Venice).
