Starting a new Master Mode For The Worthy world!

In this video we'll build a cool OCEAN base! Or better, we'll rework the one i had before, because honestly, it looked TERRIBLE lol.

The Ocean is a biome found at both left and right edges of a world, comprising both the easternmost and westernmost 676 feet (338 blocks) of the map[1][2]. It consists of a sandy beach and a large body of water that extends toward the end of the map, with Shell Piles being occasionally generated in clumps. Palm Trees grow on the surface (since 1.2.4), and can be harvested for Palm Wood. Seashells and Starfish are found commonly on the surface and underwater, and can grow over time. Corals also grow on the seabed.

Enemies in the Ocean include Crabs, Pink Jellyfish and Sharks. Squids and Sea Snails rarely appear underwater, Desktop only Console version Old-gen console version Mobile version and respectively drop Black Ink and Purple Mucus. Critters in the Ocean include Dolphins, Seagulls, Seahorses and Sea Turtles.

Oceans will commonly contain Water Chests with loot pertaining to water.

Oceans have a 1/4 (25%) chance of generating with a cave, which consists of a water-filled tunnel with a ceiling made of hardened sand beginning at the ocean floor. This tunnel has an additional chance of generating Water Chests, which have equal chances of containing each primary item. It is decorated with long strands of Seaweeds growing from the sand floor.

The world has a 1/4 (25%) chance to generate one of the oceans as Florida style. This variant inverts the slope of the beach, with long beaches becoming steeper near the world edge.

Players exploring the Ocean run the risk of drowning if not equipped with the proper accessories. In addition to plenty of healing potions, items and potions that aid breathing, such as the Breathing Reed and Gills Potion, a Magic Mirror for returning home quickly, and Flippers to aid swimming should be brought along. The Grappling Hook or Ivy Whip may also be of some help in returning to the surface for breath. The Neptune's Shell or any of its upgrades removes the need to breathe altogether.
Players may drain the Ocean by tunneling down to the Underworld, where water evaporates.
Another way of draining the Ocean is by making an air pocket, emptying a Lava Bucket in it and placing a background object (e.g. furniture) in the lava. Allowing water to flow in will cause it to disappear, as the object prevents Obsidian from being generated.
When attempting to preserve the Ocean biome from being infected in Hardmode, simply digging a horizontal gap under the seabed is insufficient because world data extends a little past the edge of the world. The gap must be created vertically along the beach of the Ocean to prevent the spread of Corruption/Crimson or Hallow.
The Oceans have a lot of space, making them good places for large-scale builds like arenas and farms.
While not currently possible to expand the Ocean biome further inland, it is possible to extend the watery area to the inner edge of the naturally spawning beach.

A house (or home) is a structure built by the player that town NPCs require in order to spawn, with one house required per NPC. A structure must meet several requirements in order to function as a house (see details below). The player can check if a structure meets the requirements by using the housing menu's top button, labeled with a question mark ("?"). NPCs generally retreat to their houses at night and remain in them until dawn. They will also retreat to their houses when it rains and during any event.

The Guide will appear upon starting a new world, and if killed, he will require a house in order to respawn. The Old Man, the Traveling Merchant, and the Skeleton Merchant do not require houses.

Similarly, the Guide, Angler, Goblin Tinkerer, Tavernkeep, Mechanic, Stylist, Wizard, Tax Collector, and Golfer will each make their initial appearances regardless of available housing. Once initially found, each will require a suitable house before respawning.

Certain naturally-generated structures can serve as houses and may inadvertently attract NPCs if players have placed light sources within them. These can include Floating Island structures, Living Tree treasure rooms, and the structures in the underworld. NPCs can be moved from these to the player's structures using the housing menu.

The requirements for a player-selected Bed to work as a spawn point are similar to those for NPC housing, but weaker; players do not need furniture beyond the Bed. See the Beds page for full details.
