The vertical format (or Portrait Video Mode) has been around for a while now but yet there is still very little dedicated professional equipment to create vertical films. With Zhiyun’s new Crane 2S, there is now a dedicated Vertical Shooting feature that we could truly rely upon, even with heavier setups. Having the ability to film in this format encourages us to think outside the box - outside of just composing shots in the standard 16:9 horizontal video format.
