SWFD RIT competes in Fire-Rescue EAST 2022
South Walton Firefighters finished 6th out of 20 teams with a time of 7:52 and no penalties for a "clean run" at the 2022 Fire-Rescue EAST 2022 Rapid Intervention Team Competition.
RIT Competition participants were: Team Captain (Command) Lt. Firefighter/Paramedic Luke Lewis, RIT 1 Firefighter/EMT Jason Haynes and Firefighter/Paramedic Chris Burri, and RIT 2 Firefighter/EMT Ben Helms and Lt. Firefighter/Paramedic Chris Powell, as well as RIT Alternate Firefighter/Paramedic Steven Foreman.
