Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats! | Halloween Rice Krispie Treats
I found orange rice krispy cereal at the store and was inspired to put a spooky twist on everyone's favorite Marshmallow Treats!! No need to add additionsl ingredientd since the cereal is already orange! 🎃🧡 These easy Pumpkin Treats will become everyone's favorite Halloween Party Snack
🎃 You will need:
* 6 cups Orange Rice Krispy Cereal
* 5.5 cups Mini Marshmallows
* 3 tbsp Butter
* Non-stick Cooking Spray
* Premade Chocolate Cookie Icing or Canned Frosting (Pillsbury Midnight Chocolate)
* Tootsie Rolls (for Stems)
* Piping Bags
* Decorating Tip # 2
🎃 Directions: (Recipe from Rice Krispy website)
* Spray a large saucepan and stirring spatula with non-stick. Melt butter on low heat
* Combine marshmallows with melted butter, stir continuously until marshmallows melt into a marshmallow sauce
* Add Orange Rice Krispies to marsmallow mixture until well coated
* Remove from heat. Scoop Rice Krispies with a measuring cup and roll into a ball
* Press butter knife into cereal to create rind effect on pumpkin. Repeat all around 3x with back and forth motions
* Cut tootsie roll in half and place on top of pumpkins for stem
* Pipe pumpkin face with chocolate frosting and decorating tip #2. Fill in triangle eyes and nose with zig-zags
