Am I the one feeling it? Even as a reviewer myself, I think there's some misalignments between brands, content creators and viewers. Brands expect targeted reach, content creators wants views and subscribers, viewers want the latest information and opinions about new gear... however, none of them makes sense anymore, not with the timing in between all three. This is why I think YouTube reviews are not what they used to be.
