This is how I built the framing in my Sprinter van. I used 2,5x4cm thick wooden beams and installed it to the van metal walls using rivet nut tool. I had some issues as I have installed reflectix over the river nuts so it was a challenge to find them again! In the end, I screwed the screws in river nuts, pressed the wooden board with some play dough on it against the screws and that's how I marked the holes for the screws in the wooden beams. Ha, tackled the challenge, but again, that was definitely not the most time saving option :D
I also created a box for the extra battery to sit on - I have a really heavy battery, so I needed something sturdy! Ok, that's about it - also check out how I build

More videos coming soon - I will show you the finished wall framing before I mount the walls! It was a bit of ongoing process.

I am Sandra. In January 2022 I purchased a 2018 Sprinter Van, Sherpa. I am using my stubbornness and drive to show individuals that they, too, can convert a camper van by themselves and on a budget, with a lot of learning, rolling up the sleeves, and getting to work. With this van build I want to create an adventure vehicle that's going to store all my surfboards, mountain bikes and skis and have some space for my friends to tag along as well in order to pursue the waves, fresh snow and good bike trails.
My want to inspire individuals to pursue their passion and to not be afraid to live a life differently.
