Transport Tycoon is old enough to deserve a proper retrospective of what makes it great and how the perfect blend of gameplay mechanics and presentation have made it an enduring classic.
This is not that video, it's an idiot in a room who decides to play it for a day and fail at the very game he professes to love and have a life-changing level of familiarity with. Also I got distracted halfway through and that made it in because of course it would.

Bonus fact: I say it's an original unmolested install but I have done some classic 1990s piracy by copying all the the .GRF and .DAT files to the install directory and editing TRANS.BAT to look for the files there instead. Since I didn't get a CD-ROM drive for my 486 until much later this is also a thing I've been doing for 30 years by this point.
