At one time his blood sugar was so high it went beyond the range of the blood sugar meter he was using (which read numbers up to 500). Ken was on a crash course with disability and early death, but he found the answers he needed and got his blood glucose levels down - in fact so far down that his A1c levels now indicate that he is not only not diabetic, but he is, in fact, normal.
