La Fine del Mondo... è inevitabile.
Fra 5 miliardi di anni, il Sole, che seguirà un normale ciclo di vita stellare ben noto agli astronomi, si trasfomerà dall'attuale nana gialla ad una stella gigante rossa. L'espansione inghiottirà i pianeti del solare interno, tra cui probabilemente anche la Terra.
Ma in realtà... niente e nessuno sarà ancora in vita per assistere allo "spettacolo", perché la vita sarà scomparsa già da molto tempo.
L'episodio presenta il processo che porterà a questa fine del mondo, inevitabile.
Ma gli esseri umani, in questa apocalisse, come se la caveranno? A che momento si metterà la parola fine alla storia della nostra specie?
