Canadian housing prices expected to hit record highs in 2 years
Canada’s federal agency tasked with improving housing has a gloomy outlook for the Lower Mainland’s already troubled sector. The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation says home prices will climb over the next two years, as new building starts are expected to decline because of the effect of high interest rates on new construction. CBC's Chad Pawson hit the streets to find out how people are navigating an increasingly expensive city.
