Lady Lash is the alter ego of Crystal Clyne Mastosavvas, a Kokatha woman with Greek ancestry who has carved out a successful career in the male-dominated Melbourne hip hop scene. Lady Lash (2020, dir. Rochelle Humphrey) follows Crystal as she returns to Country seeking self growth and connection after living in Melbourne for decades.
Here, at a screening of both My Survival as an Aboriginal (1979, dir. Essie Coffey), and Lady Lash, the documentary's star, Crystal Clyne Mastosavvas, appears in-conversation with producer Rochelle 'Rocky' Humphrey and Bindal, Juru and Koa woman Kerri-Lee Harding - SBS/NITV Executive Producer of Radio and Podcasts.
