MAEE is a new international dance project composed by Italian dj, multi-instrumentalist and producer Manfree with the singer-songwriter MAE.
At the age of 5, Manfree began playing piano and shortly afterwards won various national classical piano competitions. Then the experimentation in jazz and the study of groove. He plays drums and percussion, xylophone but also guitar, bass and piano, his first love. After a first period in a rock band, he discovered the world of electronic music where he finally managed to make all his artistic ambitions coexistent within one profile.
After "Nothing" in 2015, # 1 Beatport Pop/Dance Chart and "The Crown" in 2016 with Inusa Dawuda, he performed in both national and international festivals and clubs such as Ministry Of Sound in London or the openings to Benny Benassi at Project X and to Gabry Ponte. In 2019 he produceed for various Italian artists such as Testacoda and Lunie.
MAE is a singer-songwriter who makes “smooth mood” her expression. She sings and plays both the ukulele and the acoustic guitar and the use of stringed instruments allows her to better control her voice.
