A guided tutorial for setting up and using Stable Diffusion XL base 1.0 model on Supermicro Gaudi 2 AI Server. Flagship model from Stability AI and the best open model for text-to-image generation. We will be following Optimum Habana GitHub example for Stable Diffusion XL and a script our team developed which features an interactive web UI using Gradio. We will demonstrate how to set up a virtual environment, check the system firmware/drivers, clone the Optimum Habana directory, set up the dependencies, and launch the demo. Generates images of high quality, all in native 1024x1024 resolution. Demo is running on Supermicro Gaudi 2 can generate an image in ~ 5 seconds with 50 inference steps, using BF16.
