Matthew Wright disapproves of King Charles receiving a £45m pay rise, some of which is going towards palace maintenance.

It comes as the King has taken on fewer duties while he undergoes cancer treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, the diagnosis of which was announced in February this year.

This also comes as millions of pensioners are set to lose their winter fuel payments, in line with Labour's new threshold for one's ability to claim support.

It was also revealed earlier this week in the Telegraph that pensioners will have to answer a 243-question survey, across 22 pages, to determine eligibility for that help - some of whom did qualify for the credit last winter.

Matthew Wright is joined by Jack Royston - the Chief Royal Correspondent at Newsweek, and Richard Murphy - political economist, Director of Tax Research UK and Professor of Accounting Practice at the Sheffield University Management School, to discuss the King's pay increase.
