How to reduce LOUD audio using a Compressor in OBS | OBS Compressor Tutorial
In this video, I will discuss how the compressor works in OBS.
The compressor is a tool used to reduce the volume in a track when you are recording or after you've recorded. In obs, this is done in real time. Using this filter, you can achieve really nice audio for your listeners.
Sidechain/ducking settings:
Ratio: 32:1
Threshold: -36dB
Attack: 100ms (How fast the audio will duck out)
Release: 600ms (How fast the audio will return to full volume)
Output Gain: 0dB (You do not apply output gain when using Sidechain compression)
Sidechain/Ducking Source: Background music source (eg, desktop audio)
