How to generate SNMP traps from Windows events
Steps for configuring Windows events to be forwarded as SNMP traps. Explained with a real-time example.
1. Start the 'eventwin' utility (Event to Trap translator tool).
2. Select and configure the event to be forwarded as trap.
3. Trigger the event.
4. Check whether SNMP trap is generated.
