Fluids on 3dsmax is a very robust and good fluids solver that has been added on max 2018.1 and evolved since then, with strong features. On this overview, I will setup a project from start to finish, checking problems we found during the way and how to solve them.
We dont need Realflow or Phoenix to create nice fluids in max anymore. Obviously, this two programs can have some advantages, but as well Fluids has multiple strong points, like the mesh on the fly, good quality mesh, Very complete interface, direct export to PRT files, Motion Fields are very versatile not just for Fluids, we can move Milions of particles on real time thanks to caching in to ram, and more!
