Presidio's 30th Anniversary
On October 1, we celebrated the Presidio’s 30th anniversary as a national park site and thanked those who have supported its remarkable transformation from a storied Army post to one of the most visited parks in America. The event honored the Ramaytush Ohlone as original stewards of the land, military and public service in the Presidio, and the many volunteers, donors, and community groups that were integral to reimaging the Presidio. It also included special recognition of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, a champion and advocate for the Presidio over the last three decades.
