One Dead, Three Arrested in Botched Robbery of Belize City Businessman
Tonight, one man is dead, and three others are behind bars after they attempted to rob a Belize City businessman. The entrepreneur was inside Casa Churros Café on Freetown Road just before midday when three masked men barged inside. The men forced the businessman and his wife upstairs into their living quarters where a scuffle ensued, and shots were fired leading to the death of one robber. Reporter Vejea Alvarez tells us more.
