This is our preferred method for feeding young seedlings. When they're about a month old, after they've been thinned, your seedlings will want some food - especially if they're still in seedling soil mix (low nutrient). Following the instructions on the bottle, mix up some seaweed solution and give to the plants instead of their usual water, once every 2-3 weeks. By watering from below, they'll soak it up until saturated and happy.

**One thing I forgot to mention: Add enough liquid in the bottom of the tray for them to soak it all up within about 3 hours. If they soak it all up too quickly, they may want a little more. If there is still a lot of standing liquid leftover after a few hours, you'll want to carefully pour it off - or like we do, suck it up with a big plastic syringe to put elsewhere. You don't want them overly soggy for days.

Keep on growing!
