We lucked out and got a last minute reservation for camping and hiking in the Havasupai Indian Reservation. We left L.A. at 5:30pm and got there around 2am. Woke up bright and early to hit the trail for the 10 mile hike in. The hike in is beautiful and made me appreciate the waterfalls even more, when we finally arrived. We explored Mooney Falls and Havasu Falls. The climb down to Mooney Falls is steep and slick with chain hand holds and not for the faint of heart or those who are afraid of heights. This is one of the most spectacular places in the world! I can't wait to come back and spend a lot more time here!
