This video was filmed on the track of the group Shuma - "Dreva". It was created by a team of Ukrainian video artists to express solidarity with the Belarusian people, to support us, as well as to draw the attention of the world community to the dramatic situation in Belarus, where the civilian population is subjected to brutal violence and genocide.
The song you hear is an ancient Belarusian prayer, the song of our ancestors, where a woman asks the gods to ward off trouble from the neighboring land. At the moment I am a neighbor for my country and I pray for our freedom.
With this video, I also want to express my counterargument to the Belarusian State Radio Company, which sends a pro-government group with non-professional creativity of a low artistic level to Eurovision this year. I believe that the official artist disgraces the Belarusians.
